    ​Judge and Bailiff Registration

    Thank you for volunteering to serve as a judge for the MABLSA Constance Baker Motley Mock Trial Competition or the Thurgood Marshall Moot Court Competition! This year's regional competitions will take place on-site at the Philadelphia Rittenhouse Sonesta from February 26th through February 27th. Without the generous support of judges and bailiffs like you, we would not be able to host a successful competition series.

    ​This will ensure that we have your availability accurately recorded for both schedules.

    Our current needs are as follows:Thursday, February 26
    • Mock Trial: 3 bailiffs (9am-12pm), 1 judge + 3 bailiffs (2pm-5pm)
    • Moot Court: 4 judges + 2 bailiffs (9am-12pm)
    Friday, February 27
    • Mock Trial: 1 judge (9am-12pm)
    • Moot Court: 2 bailiffs (1pm-3pm)
    ​The Constance Baker Motley Mock Trial Competition is one of NBLSA’s premier advocacy competitions, allowing students to develop key trial advocacy and litigation skills. We are seeking volunteer judges to help evaluate and support our competitors. Additionally, we are seeking volunteer bailiffs to serve as timekeepers and assist with ensuring that the competition rules are followed. Each round lasts approximately 3 hours.
